front bag setup

i'm in the process of bagging my 92 dakota my question is when baggin the front do you guys also run 2 inch drop spindles or just bags. whats the pros and cons, also how exactly do you mount them in the front? do you use bag cups from another truck?

Most people from what i've heard modify chevy cups to use on kotas. if you can find a 2" drop spindle i will shit myself. I've never been able to find a company that makes a spindle for any year dakota. in case ur interested theres a car show saturday at Centerfolds off of I-94 and chalmers (or cadieux cant remember) free show and free bikini car was from what i was told. and hey if its at a strip club anything can happen with enuf one dollar bills right!

I think the cups I used were full sized chevy cups. Western Chassis makes 2" drop spindles for gen I kotas. Got mine from Sport Truck Direct

steve... prepare to shit your self i think that the only company i have ever come across...NOT that i recommend them due to their customer service is total crap is AIM industries they used to have dropped spindles for just about everything even dakotas

but read what they say in picture caption and i quote "Using an offset wheel other than factory offset causes stress on spindle shaft & bearings and they can break!!"

although two of my friends have bought them and had no problem with the spindles, but they havent run high offset wheels either.

oh and i plan on runnin stock spindles when i bag my 92 dak...and z the front of the frame at the firewall

i just pooped a little. not that i'd ever use anything AIM after the hellish nightmare of what a friend of mine went through baggin her 01 kota on aim control arms. total junk

Cris is right in the F/S cups bein right on point. and a 2500 will be fine for a bag size and i dont think id even be a MUST that you get a drop spindel, you can make it work otherwise cause thats a fairly simple setup.
