ive heard mixed opinions on running aluminum 15" wheels on an 88-98 with drop spindles. i know it wont just bolt on without cutting the arm, but ive seen several trucks running stocks with drop spindles. did you have to cut alot of the arm?

if i remember correctly cris you just have to cut the lip on the bottom side of the control from the ball joint edger area to about 4 inches back was plenty.

hm... wonder if this will compromise the integrity of the arm.....

i didnt feel like cuttin my arms wheni got spindles, so i just gott 22s for the extra clearance

yea i did the same thing, but i wanna run the stocks because ive worn out my 1st set of front tires already and at 200/tire id rather just put the stocks on it right now.

aight, got the wheels on, anyone else have to add spacers to clear the tie rod? i added 1/4" of spacer, and it rubs if i air the truck down tuckin like 3" of tire, but i was drivin the truck 1-2" off the ground with the 22s, so i wanna do the same with the stocks
