billet guage cluster help

yeah I have an 02 silverado...has anyone put the trenz billet kit in the guage cluster...what did you do to get the clear plastic off, or did you cut the backing off to place the billet in...any help would be great before I go cutting stuff up..lol

pull the cluster out, pop the lens off( t has about 4 or 5 lil retaining tabs) slapthe billet in there and your good to go.
