ok guys technically my truck is a 98 chevy s10 (its a 98 hombre) anyways i have the single cab model, i want a nice system eventually that will hit pretty well. i really like the way the the kicker L7 15" solo bariq sub woofers sound. ive had one before & with a cheap ass sont xplod 760watt amp id shake shit at my house & be heard from a 1/4 mile away, set off car alarms ya know the fun shit... with a 6ft cu box. i wanna know how much does a port through coston the average & will there be problems when it comes time to body drop if so what problems etc etc. i know this time around id use a better amp. anyways holla at me with info & shit

the port threw is cheap as a sawal and blade. you will need an acordian boot that you can get from a camper supply store. when you BD it on your cab wall section it out above the blow threw an it should do just fine thats what ive done in the past and it worked. hope this helps.

they are cheap and easy to do. only problem you will have is that after a body drop you wont be fitting 15's back there. i had a hell of a time getting three 12's in mine with a 3 and a half inch body drop and you cant see the woofers.

You are going to have a hard time fitting that woofer and enclosure after the bodydrop. How about a bandpass enclosure. This way you are dealing with a smaller cut through the bed/cab walls. Also you should be able to fit the woofer in the bed, facing up. A good designer with the correct specs of a bandpass enclosure should have no issues coming up with something for your applacation. Since you are looking to be looooud, then you shuold like this type of enclsoure.
