I'm 17, and I've done it. Lol.

Traditional is when you cut the floor and let the body drop and weld it back up. SFBD is basically building a frame under the cab to lower it, then modding the tunnel.

well funds are kinda low, and i jus moved into an apartment so that kinda throws a wrench in tha works, and u kinda lost me on tha stock floor bd, what would be tha easiest way on my ranger, and tha best, my dads a welder by trade, but we cant afford a welding machine, and no one here in BR really cares to help eachother that ive found, because, my shit isnt as sick or as done as theirs, so any help is appericated

wow i only see it being harder to bodydrop a truck traditionally off the frame.....

I find a stock floor to be much easier to do than a traditional. Just my 2

so how would i tackle that tazk on a 92 ranger? i dont understand

What alot of people do is take the cab off and then place the new 2x3 frame rails inside of the stock frame rails. Weld it up and then cut the extra frame at the top off. then move your cab mounts down or make new ones.

You build a frame that is shorter under the cab. Build it out of 2x3 tube, and drop the body mounts back on, and then set the body back on and make it work.

I did a traditional because my frame is 4" tall, and I only needed a 2" body drop. All the extra work for a 1" drop, and still having to traditional it didnt make sense.

Yeah thats understandable
