im guessing the blue wire is your trigger wire for the relay. that need to go to the pressure switch, then out from the pressure switch to the relay. i got a diagram if you need it

ok, so haveing both ( that blue wire from under the dash and the pressure switch wire) going to the relay might not be right? see, the blue one from under the dash, i take i it starts the compressor when i start the car. what other way is there? i mean how he has it, does it seem right? oh and another main q, should the relay be grounded, like coming off one of the 4 prongs, one should be ground?

yea, you want one for ground,

theres a diagram to help ya out

how i do mine is i have the wire comming out of the dash, to a toggle switch, so i can turn it off whenever, then from that to the pressure switch, then from the other prong on the pressure switch to the relay. ground the relay, its prong "85", you power comes in to prong "30" then your wire from your p switch is hooked up to prong "86", then finally prong "87" goes to your compressor. any more q's just ask

the compressor isnt supposed to start when you start the car unless the tank is out of air. The compressor is supposed to start when the tank pressure drops below a certain point, usually like 40 psi below the max pressure that turns the compressor off.

If you are thinking something is wrong because your compressor doesnt come on when you turn your car on, you may be confused as to how its supposed to work. If the compressor is hooked to the IGN, you need to have the key on AND the pressure needs to be below the pressure switch "on" point.
