where would be the best place to mount the rear bags on a 86 chevy c-10,above the axel,,or on bottom bars. would a triangulated 4-link be better?

there is no best location, but foreward trisngulated 4 links are pretty standard and if you rock the bags on bars its a little bit better of a ride with more lift.

so can anybody give me more ideas

going off what I've heard over axle with a parallel four link would ride nice and handle well, but you would lack the lift you'd get if the bags were mounted on the bars...mounting your bags on the link bars is a good way to gain lift, but it may not ride as well as the over axle set up...just my 2 cents...visit www.fabworxcustoms.com or call Steve at 559-291-9222 if you want professional advice...

Your trying to say that over the axle makes a better ride than on the bars?!?!??

In all the trucks ive been in with over the axle setups they ride like SHIT.

Put the bags on the lower bars. You will love the ride. Once you get the lower bars in there place the bag around the center of the bars.

bags over the axle with sleeves wont be bad alot of people when they have bag over the axle drive at full lift and thats why they ride like shit but if u drive them at low psi in the bags they aint too bad ..then again if a dumb ass mounts the bag on the link bars wrong they will ride like shit too u get the boat feel ..but i rather do on the bars
