Insuarance on your system

Hey guys i just got a new job for a company that works with your insurance to replace your system if it got stolen. Do any of you guys pay extra to have insurance on your systems? just seeing how many in this scene throw down for this...

just add additional coverage to your insurance for the value of the equipment.

i have state farm and they told me to just save the receipts or have photos of it in your vehicle. i just got jacked about 4 months ago and just showed them the box and install paperwork i had for my car and the stereo and they paid up. but i know you can inform them and pay alil more money for extra stuff.

Guys if you do have insurance on your stuff, make sure its bolted down because you could very well void your coverage if its not. (insurance companies fail to tell you that)

I would love to have it on my dime. my buddy lost 3200 in system but got it back threw insurance. I think it would be great in a big city where theft is more common
