Ive wanted a bagged dually for years and i just bought a project I can fabricate and weld and I'm gonna do this project myself but know very little about whats right or wrong in the slamming process so i have a boat load of questions.I paid 3500 for this truck, it has 100 miles on a brand new motor and a tranny that has just been serviced. The previous owner was an old guy who was on top of his maintenance .My original dream was a four door, white but i felt I couldnt pass this one up.Im fully in love with the idea of putting 22 or 24 semi wheels on this.not sure what that entails hub adapters or maybe alcoa has a 22 in 8 lug.Im not sure.so here i am ready to soak up your knowledge like a sponge.I am a 30 year old ironworker in san diego and this has been one of my lifelong dreams.besides san diego needs more bagged dually's anyways.

welcome Joe and good luck with your dually. They are fun and there's lots to learn. Insofar as wheels go, you get 8 lug to 10 lug adapters so that you can run 22 or 24 semi wheels.

Post some pics of your rig when you get a chance. I just had mine polished in time for the change in weather just this weekend.
