96 taco??

just got a 96 taco and was wandering does the front require cups or torsion bar bag brackets????? and what is involved with upgrading the front end to the 98 and newer front end do you have to replace the core support or is it all bolt in thanx for the help

you can get cups for the front from cando specialties or you can use torsion brackets. as for upgrading the front end you will have to trim and beat a little with a hammer to get the grill and headlights to fit the 96 core support the easiest and cleanest way is to replace it with the 98 and up. hope this helps

thanx alot for the reply it was alot of help have any info on which one i should go with the cando or the torsion bar brackets, like which one gives the most lift, because im gonna be doing a sfbd on this truck soon and would like to know the wheel size i should use and once aagain thanx for your help

i used the cups but they are a pain int he ass neither is going to give you anymore lift. you will probably be better off using torsion brackets if you have general engineering and fabricating skills it wont be hard to get them to work. good luck
