96 s10 wont go in reverse

I just picked up a 96 dime and it runs good and all, but when I shift to reverse, it doesn't move. It shifts in smoothly and all,but just acts like it's in neutral. Could this be a vacuum line or anything related to this?

Its an auto trans by the way.

if its an automatic get under it and see if its the linkage thats not letting it go completly into gear
