pop and humming when turned on...

i have a poing noise and a constant humm when my system is turned on.

its in a 05 focus with the sony sub and stock amp. i took out the sony sub leaving the stock amp in there, then plugged a stinger entry level line output converter to the four wires coming out of the stock amp. i ran my rca to my kenwood kac-0522 amp.

should i not be running trough the stock amp? also would maybe GROUND LOOP ISOLATOR or a POP STOPPER SPS from stinger maybe solve this problem.

i don't really know where to start and would hate to have to take it in to get this problem fixed.

oh i'm also powering a kicker 10"L5 dual 4ohm

could it be a bad ground? my rca's could be shit to but there ran on the oppisite side of my car compared to the power and ground wire.
