When laying frame on a navigator or expo, what is everyone doing as far as gas tanks go? Not really wanting to spend the money on a fuel cell, does anyone have any other suggestions on a cheaper way of doing this. (The gas tank sits about 3 inches below the frame).

section the gas tank... sure you loose capacity, but you would rather loose it that way than watch ur fuel lvl go from F to E and see a trail of fuel behind u down the road or you could buy a pre made fuel cell and just cut new holes for the evap crap, and stock sending unit/pump

Is that it just. Section it or fuel cell.
What if its a plastic gas tank?

you can section a plastic tank but its kinda if'y. or if u wanna just go cheap and easy put it inside like behind the second row seat then just build a box to go over it and carpet it to make it blend in better. thats what i would do if i did'nt wanna pay for a fuel cell

gotta worry about fumes tho if u put it in the back of the navi...

Yeah im not really wanting to do that. Might just have to find a way to afford a fuel cell.

gm and ford put gas tanks in single cab trucks in the 50s and 60s trust me there wont be fumes from a factory gas tank

screw it, broke down and bought a 32 gallon fuel cell.
