Fuel pump size

Workin on a 91 ranger with a 2.3l H.O motor.Wanted to know what size pump to get. I was going to get a 20gallon tank from jegs if that matters. Thanks

Im running a MSD 2225 external pump on my 15 gallon cell. My truck has 4.0 in it. The pump is rated at something like 400HP on EFI motors, but it is the smallest pump that MSD sells. It is on Summit for around $85. Just don't get any of the Accel pumps. They look identical to the MSD, but they suck. The cheap little brass studs on their electrical connections are very easy to break and the second one I bought didn't even work out of the box.

James is running a pump he got from O'Reilly's one his. It works alright too, but its pretty loud and gives it too much fuel. He can give you better advice on 2.3s that I can.

that msd pump will be perfect for any 89 later ranger EFI setup. just becuz older rangers have 2 fuel pumps.... and i got it from advanced auto parts BITCH.
