Look on my profile. I have pics of that. LOL. What I did was take a razor blade and cut strips and chisled it out that way. Took a while but it came out. You can also cut the strips and use an air chisle.

what you need is a little tourch and a paint scraper. once you heat it up realy good it scrapes right off in big chunks

It sucks bad!!! If you can get it to start peeling anywhere...then get a razor knife and use it to score or cut through the liner so that you can hopefully pull it out in strips or chunks. You might want to use pliers or vise-grips to pull it up once you have got it to peel. Other than that I dont know of a chemical that will strip it. I use to work for a truck store that did spray-in liners and that is what we had to do. It takes a lot of work...trust me. The only other thing you can hope for is that the person that prepped the bed did a half-a$$ job and the liner didnt get very good adhesion. GOOD LUCK! Dont give up.

Your only other option is to only strip the areas where you are going to work and then take it back to a Rhino liner dealer and they should be able to shoot it again and blend the wheelhouses into the old liner.

Oh, yeah, the heat gun can help. Don't heat it too much or it will be too soft to peel. But What Cody said. It did take me a while to take it off. Just do a little at a time. Look on my profile.

I am a lead spray tech at our shop that sprays Rhino Linings. Get a heat gun or a forced heater of some sort that can crank out about 300 degrees and force it to the liner itself. Then you can take a big putty knife and scrape it out. We have a machine that we use, but it costs 1100.00 dollars to buy. There is another way is by grinding it out. It should only take about 6-8 hours to strip out the liner by grinding or using the putty knife with the heat I said earlier. If anymore Questions call me at

depends on what kind it is....

If the liner is soft (dig your thumbnail into it) it is probably a 2:1 ratio (urethane to hardener) then you can probably use the heat and chisel idea

If the liner is one of the harder ones (Line-X, Armagaurd, etc....) It is a 1:1 ratio and you can use liquid nitrogen to freeze it, then tap it w/ a hammer and it will shatter and fall off of the bed
