What do you guys typically do with your steering columns when you bodydrop? Seems like it's going to be on the wrong angle and too long, so me's thinking of chopping it and removing a chunk depending on what it looks like in there. Its a Datsun 521 from the year of our lowered, 1970.

All I did is snag a lower steering shaft off a 4x4 pathfinder. Its the exact spline count if you remove your stock one with the Rag joint on it. Put in the 4x4 one with the "Ujoint" on it and that way It will relive the angle ackwardness and not put stress on your steering box, oh yeah, it should clear the upper control arm, It did on mine...
