Also on that year truck you will have to move the exhaust that goes from the drivers side to the passengers. I am in the same boat. Then the crossmember will need to be welded on and the 4 bolts taken out to make it lay all the way. This is all after that fact of drop spindles and cut the wheel well out

yeah its a stupid bitch. Ive been dragging the fuck outta my Ypipe when it comes off where gonna run stainless pipe straight back into 40series flowmasters. Depending on the wheel size u gotta tub the firewall. I really wouldnt just weld the tranmission x-member solid. Take it out and put sides on it and move the bolts up to the side of the frame. You may have transmission problems someday and want to change it without pulling the whole engine.

what you need to do is cut those cups down probably.

drop spindles.

remove the inner fenders

trim the fender lips off

get a shorter y pipe made or some custom duals made up for the truck...

and DO NOT FUCKING WELD the cross member in.

you can either make brackets to have it bolt in from the sides, or weld some studs through the frame to hold it in, and put nuts on them, or run carriage bolts.

I had the same wheels / tires on my chevy fullsize and it lays out nice on those.
