i need to vent! i just got my truck home (barely) after a months worth of working on it every sat. and sun. with a 30min. drive just to get to the garage my cuz was letting me use. its bagged up front and dropped real low in the rear. Now to get this damn thing drivable i need to solve the issue with the gas tank X memeber resting on the pumpkin. I ordered 3in. blocks instead of the 4's i have now but thats only gonna give me an inch. i guess im gonna have to notch that cross member? it sucks cuz i notched the frame for the 4in. blocks but since that damn X memeber is so low the notch in the frame is functionless. anyone have suggestions on how to notch it? i really dont fuckin feel like it though i kinda just wanna put the 3in. blocks in and and say f it and drive. Also since i took it outta the garage my electrical is all fed up when i shift into reverse my blinker comes on with no reverse lights and when i turn my headlights on my blinker on my dash comes on and when i turn my left turn signal on my gauges blink with the signal! i donno how the hell this happened all i did was wire up valves no compressor or nething. i checked all the fueses i couldnt find anything. so once i get the cross member issue solved i think im gonna have to take it to an electrical shop. im just ready to drive it! sick of fuckin with it i needed to bitch if anyone has any ideas or tips let me know. -thanks

Its hard to forget your truck if you're the one working on it everyday. Lol. Just makes it that much more frustrating that you can't drive it.

Man I know how difficult it can be to have to drive a distance like that to work on it. I went through the same thing. I haven't driven my truck since June of 2003. I've never had a garage to work in. But after 3 years I finally saved enough and bought a house last month with a 2 1/2 car detached Now in a few months i should have the garage wired and begin work. Just remember to enjoy working on your truck and not just miss driving it. I would give anything to have been able to work on mine the last three years. And i regret not appreciating the time i did spend working on it in the past. Just my thoughts.

check your ground wires on the rear frame clip a wire could have been cut or pinched while working on the rear id check that before i took anything to a shop if not the i would just call a shop and see if they could diagnos it over the phone for free

hope this hepls you out some
