i was just wondering if you guys do anything to connect the tub to the outter bed skin when you install them?

arent they usually attached to the inner bed wall?

weld it to the inner bed wall, u can grind it down and run ur finger with some caulk or sealent if u like to smooth it out

Yeah, DEF DO NOT weld it to the outter skin!VERY big mess!Inner walls, bed flood, bed rails...Pretty much anything on the bed EXCEPT the outter walls!

what i did up front, to minimize the possibility of dings from rocks, was rivet some garage door rubber to the edge and let that push against the fender, should work good in back too!

not as bad idea...u could go to ur local interior supply store, and they usually carry an assortment of universal rubbers in different sahpes and functions, they might have something that would work for ya their as well. Seam sealer isnt a bad idea either, so either way ud be just fine!!
