i need to know how to wire two compressors (air zenith) to a pressure switch (square D), i have one relay already (swingers 80 amp) will i need another? what do i wire to what? I already have two compressors one relay, one 200psi adjustable switch, what else will i need if any thing?

That should be all you need. Just wire your hots through you relay. Pressure switch to the relay, and ground the compressors straight to the frame. Thats about all. Just make sure you use sufficient guage power wire.

Oh and always fuse within 18" of the battery and ground the relay directly to clean steel.

so i will only need that one relay, and would ya know where i could find i wiring diagram for ths set up, i am kinda bad at wiring stuff, so i kinda need a pic, to show me where to connect everything.

and what do you mean... "always fuse within 18" of the battery ".

you need 2 relays one for each compressor cause you are over doing that one and will cause it to burn out fast trust me i have had it happen

i have my mecp cert.... one 80 amp relay is fine there is no way both compressers pull more than 80 amps if it does you have major problems..... make all grounds to clean steel and make sure they are tight. Hook up both + to one of the big termanals on the relay and use a big pwr wire going to the battery thru a fuse i would use a 60 amp but i have not read the specs of the az. hook one side of the pressure swich to a + and the other side to the little termanal on the relay and make a good - for the other little termanal

i am wrong the az pulls 38 amps that is a big draw you will need to have 2 relays but done like i said and keep the motor running or you will end up with a dead batt

why don't you just run the power from the battery to a solenoid, ground the solenoid, run a relay from the solenoid to the pressure switch(relay will be wired to ING) then run the compressor's to the solenoid ? its easy, can draw a diagram if you want

What i mean by fusing is you must run a either an inline fuse or circuit breaker (breaker is better) within 18" from your positive battery terminal on your power wire. Without one of these if you pull too much current you could fry that wire and possibly cause a fire.

What are the square D's rated at as far as current? I looked at one the other night and they look pretty beasty, almost beefy enough to pull the current of 2 zenith's or an oasis. Sorry this is sort of off topic but if the square D is rated at up to 80 amps you wouldn't have to run a relay at all.
