how to mount a 93 bumper on an 88

I have an 88 toyota and I just got a 93 bumper and the brackets on the 93 are a lot wider than stock mounting location. The new bumper is about 6" wider than the old one. Any ideas will help. Thanks

I'm gettin' ready to mount the same bumper on my '88 toyota. I went to the wrecker and got brackets for the 84-88 bumper and 89-95 bumper. I'm gonna try to cut and weld the two together.
