i need some help w/ my engine.

Alright guys, just so you know, im not very good w/ engines. I have the stock Z24 engine in my 89' nissan, the one w/ 8 spark plugs and when we installed the new timing chain kit in there the truck ran great for a while. But now the truck wont accelerate as strong as it should and it loses some speed when im going uphill. I have nothing done to the engine at all, no intake or anything. I also have a brand new air filter in there. But im still thinking that its a problem w/ the air induction. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check to see if your distributor bolts are loose. I had one that wouldnt idle and had no power and we turned the dist some and it started running good, so you might wanna check that.

fuel filter.

fuel filter is new and i checked the distributor. I was just thinking of getting new spark plugs and wires, as well as the disttributor cap.

maybe low compression? i had this problem with my truck b4 i sold it, but never got it checked out. sorry i can't help ya, but i feel your pain.

make sure the timing is right, all those things can be because its timed absolutely shitty. seeing as u did replace the timing chain.....

anybody else? im getting ready to sell it and i need to fix it so it runs good.
