colored primer?

i know absolutely nothing about paint so with that being said what different color primers are there? ive seen black,light grey,dark grey,and yellow. are there any other colors? if its out there id like to do my truck in a red primer just to be different for the time being because im not ready for paint but would still like to stand out from the rest a bit. so help me out! also on the diff color primers what are the good brands. i dont want any cheap shit!

You can buy red oxide primer. Sikkens makes a red primer, but it turns pink pretty quick.

definetly dont want any pink! is that about the only choice i have?

sherwin williams 2k primer comes in like 15 diff colors....red green blue yellow......everything

The red oxide is definitely a red. Heres a picture of the two together for comparison. The 4Runner is red oxide.

like i said before i know nothing about paint, are u being serious about sherwin williams having auto paint? i thought they just sold house paint and shit like that! lol

the hardbody does look like its got a pink look to it. have u seen that truck in person or is it a pic off the comp? reason im askin is cuz would really like to have red but dont wanna have any chances of it turnin pink! lol if uve seen it in person, did it look pink? thanks for the help by the way!

nah sherwin primer is prolly the best high build out there and it retains its color....plus its like the 3rd largest auto paint company in the world....(stepdads there paint rep...)

Yea, it belongs to a guy in my club. The lighting in that pic isnt so great, and the truck doesnt look as pink as it does in person. Its pretty pink.
