ok, i need this same info, but i'm gonna tell you what i've heard. You can either get a smaller fan for the blower (i don't know from where), or you can twist the whole thing inside to about 2 oclock (don't know how to do that either). I'm supposed to be getting pics thru email, if i get any i will forward to you.

Try getting an impeller (fan) from a non-ac vehicle. The trucks that come with heat only come with a smaller or shallower fan than the trucks with ac. What year S-10?

MINE WAS DONE YEARS AGO....YOU CAN CUT THE A/C BOX JUT BEFORE THE EVAPORATOR AND THROW IT AWAY...THEN MAKE THE AIR INLET HOLE IN THE FIREWALL BIGGER...JUST ENOUGH TO FUT THE SQUIRL CAGE IN IT....THE SINK IN IT TO THE HOLE ABOUT .5 INCHES...AND MAKE A SHEET METAL SURROUND THE SAME SHAPE AS THE ORIGNAL!

I did mine years ago also, I pretty much did the same thing 3yrididit did, and it works find, but I think I am going to redo mine to look like these I have seen on the net
