It's a scam, they tried it on me. It happened to be someone from Africa but there are many scams like it. The big kicker is that they don't do anything in person or over the phone, it's all over email so you really can't trace them once they fuck you. The way they do it is they send you a big ass check.. Just so happens to be from a bank that doesn't even exsist or the check isn't real. Then once you go to deposit the check, your bank puts a long ass hold on it because for some reason the check isn't going through. They may keep bugging you about it, telling you towards the end that they can wait and that they still want to do business. By this time your bank has told you to fuck off because you are trying to cash a fake check and this person is still emailing you to send the car. So how do you get them to stop??? Tell them that you have fowarded all emails from the sender and also a copy of the check to the U.S. Secret Service and that they are looking into it. After that, they will leave you alone. Only thing is that my dad knows people and we really did talk to the Secret Service.. So don't let your buddy do it Josh!!!
