Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I need some help on configuring a tire size for my 1993 isuzu p.u. I'm hoping you could give me a few ideas.

I have just purchased a set of 15"x7" American Racing "Ventura" style rims. As of right now, I have a 2" drop in the rear, that made it equal in highth for the front. From center of Center cap to crest of wheel well I've got 17.5". The tires that are on the truck as I speak are 225/70/14's...Which is pretty damn big in my opinion for the truck, when the stock size is 195/75/14's. My question is that I want to go to a lower profile tire such as maybe a 215 or 205/50 or 60/15's. I'm not really into the wheel tuck thing, I kind of like the wider look. I know in a matter of speaking it's opinion, but what size tire would look best, & perform, with the discription that I gave? Would you have any pics of any ideas?Thanks,-Shadow-

My old rims on the 93 I had were 15x9 and I ran a 225/50/15 They ddnt stick out much on the truck but were still fat and Low pro as well. On a 15x7 maybe a 215 or 205 50/15 would suit your needs. Both are smaller than the 225 but still fat and low pro. Just a suggestion. Im sure theres a lot of other guys on here who can really help you out well.
