F150 Body drop

My truck has the 4.6L, same as the mustang. It's getting doored right now. My question is Are the intake plenum's interchangable because i DO NOT want a cowl hood on my truck and I don't really want the bracing cut under the hood. Does it pretty much just bolt right up I need that throttle body to sit a little lower to get the hood on without cutting the hood or switching to cowl.

IM NOT SURE I WOULD THINK SO THO. I WISH YOU LUCK CUZ MINE WAS A PAIN IN THE ASS.

hey man im pretty sure you can since the 4.2 and the 3.8 are the same im almost 90% sure a 4.6 will work... intake in the cowl huh? im making a sheetmetal intake manifold for mine...

I'm not doing a cowl joel and did u get my message about those things I need on AIM? I don't like cowl hoods

you'll have to get the upper intake maniflod to not just the throtle body and also new intake. the upper intake manifold from a mustang are not metal it will work but not just the throtle body. i know i did a engine swap with 2002 mustang gt motor in my truck
