heres my opinion... the people that can actually afford a pre-built chassis cant match up the quality or even be capable to finish the rest of the truck. Would be cheaper to let a shop do the whole thing than buy a $6000 chassis and try to do all the rest yourself. If you can do everything else yourself to finish it then why not spend some more time and save $6000 and build the frame too? 2x3x3/16" is like $4 a foot Makes no sense to me but whatever...

That makes sense to me .... I'd rather just take it to a shop and pay about the same and save me a lot of time, probably money and a few headaches .... and I think I could live with "not doing it myself" ... but each his own ... just my opinion

ic ic..would rather put the time and $$ and do it myself also...

custom isnt pre-made..

but to each his own...any truck that isnt stock is cool to me..

Ken im sure Killer Rides can build u one, i know they are doin em for 73-87 Chevy's

I emailed Jim about the frames about 2-3 weeks ago and no response yet. I'm guessing they are too busy trying to get the show ready plus their website says they are moving AGAIN...

Hey Ken,

i sent you an email on 6-19:

We just purchased a new building (instead of renting) Once we get everything moved we will get back on the R&D of the 88-98 and 99-up Chevys.

We will be. Once we have the jig made up the base frame will be $3000, this includes cab and core support mounts. The 2nd stage will include bag mounts and 4link mounts, and motor and tranny mounts and will be $4000. hopefully in a couple of months we will have them ready. We are in the process of moving into a new building and will get back on the frame r&d once we get everything moved.
