I'm baggin the rear of my wagon on a frame I built from scratch. Problem is that I had little room to work with in the rear so my link bars are pretty short. And I think everyone knows what happens when you have short link bars. And with that, the bags are gonna bulge out alot the way I have them setup, which is how I've seen everyone set them up. What should I do to my mounting plates? Please Help!!!

you could put a hindge on the bottom so the bag can piviot kinda like a lower shock wave mount

How bad it it if the bag bulges?

Bags on the front of trucks are strained a little in an arch, but they are limited.. what you could do is just be sure it's limited.. and set it up to be straight when laid out so the bags dont get pinched. I'm assuming youd want to cruise around low, so the bags wouldnt be 'too' distorted/strained at a low ride height, and mainly bad when fully lifted.. The idea for a hinge type thing could be done with the brackets mounted on 4link ends w/bushings, 2 tabs for each so the bracket can pivot a little to help. I know thats been done.. maybe some more suggestions will be posted up, but thats what first came to mind for me. good luck

Here are pics I just took. I've got the frame 6inches off the ground(ride height) and I mounted the bags then lowered the axle with no air in the bags. They dont bulge but the top is not directly above the bottom. Is this safe and ok?

Man that is not bad at all. Think about when they are in a front application the bags are arched way more. Also when a bag is on a 2 link they arch way worse than that. Ride that bitch out.

i notice you got slams . i wouldnt worry about it at all. mine do the same thing. those bags are tough and that wont hurt them
