i have an 82 s10 and im putting an 84 mustang rearend under it. i was wondering if anyone makes rims that have the s10 and mustang lug pattern. also, has anyone else put a fox body mustang rearend under an s10 without shortening it, if so what offset rims did you get? thanks for any help guys

y? its a 4 lug....

the reason im putting that rearend in it is because the s10's rearend is shot and i got the mustang rear for free and also i need a stronger rearend for the engine im building for it. i don't want to break an axle lol.

y there weak stock... unless you have an 8.8 w/ atleast a 31 spline axle, but that only came in later cobras and explorers...

it's an 8.8 but i don't know what spline it is. it has better gears in it. plus a free rearend is alot better than spending couple hundred on a stock 7 5/8" 10 bolt

this is true, it should be a 28 spline.i would do a 5 lug swap on the rear cuz then its a 5x4.5 same as a ranger. then just find ya some dual bolt pattern wheels

i was thinking about that. thanx alot james. im just doing a daily driver bagged with 18's also so that shouldn't be too hard to find rims.

i would use an older camero rear end before the stang rear end. find a stout 10bolt, or even better a 12bolt. it would be wrong to put a ford rear end on a chevy. it might be difficult finding rims for it. i understand that most chrome wheels come drilled for an s-10 or ranger, just hope you can find a goodlookin set. most the ones i have seen just dont cut it. good luck

As far as doing the five-lug swap, get some axles from a '94 and up 8.8, they are a direct swap.

are you sure? cuz we tried puttin sn95 axles in my buddies 91 fox and they were different... ford racing sells the kit, its 200 bux for axles and drums...
