Shocks on a superlift

for all those with a SD superlift or similar setup. im tryin to figure out my shocks and wondering suggestions, but mainly id like to see some pics. thanks!

any shock will work man, just angle them a bit and you can get all kinds of stroke out of them.

I have a sd superlift, what I did was take measurements from lifted to dumped for the stroke of the shock then took a measurement for overall length when compressed (depending on how you want to mount it). Take all these measurements to your local parts dealer(auto zone, pep boys) and look through their shock lengths to find what will work best. My shocks are mounted from the top of the c-notch to the top of the lower bar, shock work best when they are mounted as vertical as possible. I get 13 inches of lift in the back and found some shocks for @ 12$ and they work great. You dont want to use a shock for a lowered suspension becuase they are valved to hard. Get the most plain jane shocks, they are cheap so if they do go bad they are easy to replace.

you guys can also go to the monroe shocks homepage, they have a pdf of all their shocks, with stroke, length, ends, all that info.

ya i have that pdf on my computer. can i just take it an auto parts store with the number i need and they convert it to there stock or what?

i goto advance auto parts and they do it, sometimes they cross reference it to a kyb shock, but those are better than monroe imo.....

i always use 00 nissan frontier rear shocks for everything there perfect double eye too and there 13 bucks life time warranty
