I just ordered some 06 Escalades they are 18x8 and a +31mm offest.

I have read a few of the posts about offset and maybe I'm stupid but I don't really get it.

Would anyone be able to tell me if these are going to fit and tuck with bags? I am not going to be body dropping as of right now.

Also any suggestions on what size tire to run?

if i calculated right, to tuck u would need a +45mm offset, so u would be about a .5" out from tucking. so i would say no it wont tuck

I'm with mitch an 18x8 u are going to need a good amoutn of offset u need atleast 35mm on a 16x7 so saying no...

no, not on 2wd metal, and it may just BARELY fit with 4wd fenders and bed.

YOu can make just about any offset tuck in the front, I saw a guy use lugnuts as camber spacers once to tuck a +20 17x8, but mitch is right, they will stick out a .5 inch in the back.

Offset isnt hard to understand, I have been thinking of throwing together a tech article about it and now I think I definitely will.

I was looking at thies rims too. Is their any little tweaks that could be done to make that .5" suck in?

they will with 215 35s I had some armada wheels with that size tire and could lay frame and they were 18x8 28mm offset they might rub it your front was up and the back down further than it would be if just layed flat out 2wd metel too
