Anyone know of a shop that will make some front bag brackets for some 2500 RE-6 Slams? I have the upper and lower plates, I just need the bracketry themselves built.Trying to finish baggin' the 95 Camaro.

they are a strut style frt end, but it looks like a bag could be set in there but the strut would have to be removed and the frame rails supported to handle the load but dont know how it would handle without the strut in there

on my buddy's trans am we are thinking of using the universal air strut bags... he has adjustable qa1 adjustables and wants to keep the adjustable dampening features of the struts... the only thing we need to check is the clearences between the bag and the upper control arms

good luck

also check out easystreet, they may have something for ya

Well, it's been done before on another camaro, and i've talked to them. They say that it handles fine, and haven't had a problem with it yet. They did the same thing i'm trying to do. I do not want any form of strut bags, because they won't get as low as I want.

arn't they a coil spring setup similar to the trucks? So I would assume just make some cups that fit where the coil does. (I could be thinking of older ones, but I think they didn't go to a strut still till later)

It is a strut. It has the spring around the shock.

i used strut bags on the front and the front end lays on the ground i dont know haw much lower you need to go than that...........and they are from airride technologies

But are you laying a body kit? I am not putting a kit on this car, and I want to lay it out. I haven't even cut the torque arm yet and it's already too low for a kit in the back.

how did you get it to lay low in the back mine is sitting on the axel and i need it lower.............and yes its got a body kit but the tires are all the way up against the wheel wells in the front..the back doesnt go real low but gets hella lift

smaller cups in the back, and we cut out a big ass section around the bag so that it wouldn't rub. It's not all the way down yet, but it will be. It's about 2 1/2 inches off the ground right in front of the rear tires.
