There's no way I'd trust that stock crossmember to mount your link bars dude.Cut it out and build a new one. The driveshaft is going to hit it as soon as you go any lower anyways.
It also looks like the 4 link tabs on your dif are at different angles and you are using the 'slop' in the super pivots to compensate. Not a good idea.
What I would do is build a proper crossmember, then flip your bars around so the superpivots are towards the front of the truck and that would buy you some more room.
The other thing you could do is a hoop overtop of the center section and run your bars off of that and outwards, instead of inwards like they are now.

You need more angle in those upper links. and the crossmember will fail.

I put a new crossmember in mine and had to raise the center 3+ inches for the driveshaft! Also mount the bags on the center of the bar otherwise you will have problems!

I wouldnt even try to mount the bags on the bars with super pivots. Any bit off center, or even hitting sides will probably jack them all to hell. I really dont like those things at all.

As for your question, if you have a yota diff, or can get one, it would be much nicer to work with. I believe the center sections are steel, so you can have the bars going from the center of the dif outwards, and get a much nicer angle on them. The narrow ranger frames and those crazy offset difs are a pain. I wish I woulda put a yota dif in the one I bagged.
Bolt pattern is the same (5x4.5) just make sure the width is close enough to work.
