Ary talking for the floor itself or to keep the cab straight after you cut the floor out?

To keep the cab straight. But so im still able to move about and construct a new floor

i would put one on the window pillars, one in front of the door (but move it up about half way so you can get underneath it to weld) and one behind the door. but weld it up about half also so you can get under it too. thats how i seen most people do on trucks and cars when they replace the entire thing.

you can put xbraces at the pillars to keep it straight, hopefully youve already done this if the floor is cut out, and depending on how you cut it, the cab doesnt change shape. ive only used braces on a few projects. and the floor is up to you. if your building an entire new floor, youve got seat braces you need to build, seat belt bracing and attatching points, driveshaft loops, all these things can be used to mount the new sheet metal onto

I see waht you guys are saying, thanks. If anyone has some pics that be great. Also what metal are you using? 1x1 square tubing 1/8 wall? Then 14 or 16 gauge sheet?

what i did was brace side to side and one big x in the middle. worked out great. i also welded some tubbing accross the frame adn welded the frame to the tube and also the body to it to keep it 100% straight ect.
