Thanks for looking. So I recently purchased a 1994 Chevy 3500 crew cab 2wd, im new to this dually thing but I have always wanted one. I purchased this truck for $3600. Ive inspected the truck and ive noticed no rust, only thing wrong with the body are the fenders and it could use a paint job. I will get more photos later but for now I am posting the only photo I have. Previous owner installed the step, front visor, the wing and chrome accents all over, I will be removing these in time. He also installed a brush guard which I might keep. Truck is the 6.5TD and has 233000 miles. Interior is in real good shape, no tears or stains and no cracks in the dash. I believe i got a good deal on this. So let me know what you guys think please. All comments are welcome

Looks like a good foundation to build upon. What are your future plans? And welcome to the forum from Florida.

Well a couple of plans are to remove all the chrome and hope for no surprise rust. Get new fenders for the rear, remove the wing and visor (still haven't figured out how to patch the drill holes) I'm not really into the whole hack and pack thing. I just want to so it right. I was looking at the DAM 5/7 drop since but heard my front end would rub. Any response to that? Also a paint job. I want thinking the original white would be a lot easier then a different color.
By the way that a sweet ride
Any other suggestions? All comments are welcome.
I also plan on removing the rear bumper and putting a roll pan in.

Thanks! As far as 5/7, that's what I had on mine before I bagged it. It sits low. Depending on your local roads it can rub. Also what size wheels and tires are you planning on running? That can be a factor as well.

Keep us posted with progress pics.

Well right now I plan to run stock until i get more funds. And my local roads are pretty rough thanks for that advice. I want it low but I don't want it to rub either. Maybe ill look into a different kit. I wouldn't mind bagging it but thats a little out of knowledge zone. Ill have to do more research and do some measurements to see if I can accommodate for a 5/7

So I've been using this as my daily driver until I get some funding. I've looked but cant find much of anything. Well it just started today and seems of course very odd. When I start it it takes a sec which isn't normal. Also Inc started it seems to have a scream in noise from the front of the motor. Idles for a min then dies. I wait a min restart it and it takes even longer but then runs fine. Any ideas? I'm completely lost here!! Please help

Okay might have figured it out, had a power steering leak replaced the hose and filled with power steering fluid.
I also removed some chrome trim and revealed alot of surface rust around the bed UH OH. I guess that could be commen when you add those chrome accents. I will be posting pics soon. I have to get the file sizes reduced to add them.
