I have a 99 Ranger w/ the 3.0 V6 w/ flex fuel and I can't get it to start. I had a fuel cell built to use the OE fuel pump and sending unit. My problem is that the OE fuel pump does not send any fuel. Is there anywhere I can get a aftermarket fuel pump/ sending unit that will work with my motor?Any help would be great.

Why not just go to a junkyard and get a new fuel pump assembly, you can most likely get a whole tank with the assembly inside for @75$. I wouldnt switch over to aftermarket parts if you dont have to. Got any pics of the truck?

did you check the relay? it could be bad. also check the inertia switch under the pass side of the dash and make sure it isnt tripped. also u can buy just the pump from the parts store and put it on your whole assemble if it turns out to be bad.

i had the same problem for a litel bit and ended up just geting a new pump from autozone. it easier to just stay with the stock setup i think...but its a returnless system so just make sure all ur wiring is good. most lickley a dumb mistake, not the relay
