that whole event was a phucking waste. Ive seen a few quite a UFC events, its like a ritual around here with Fight Night every month seen a many Pride Fighting and International Fight League shows aswell.. But I wouldnt have even paid a GD phucking Nickel to see that shit last night.. the first fight was the only one worth a damn really between Stevenson and Edwards when Edwards cut a cut on his head and was pissing head juice all over the ring.. looking like some one slayed a animal in there or soem shit. Mir vs Christison was slow paced and slugish, Mir was a damn good fighter till his motorcycle crash, no hes just kinda average.. Ortiz vs. Shamrock, that was just bullshit, Herd Dean is about one of the worst refs in the UFC. Its not the first time he has stopped shit early and rasied some controversy, hell last tiem Ken took abtou 14 of those elbows and bonced right back up like he did last night when they stopped it... Granted Ortiz more than likely would have won in the long run.. that match was just total phucking bullshit, and the crowd seemed to think so to. Burkman vs. Neer want to bad of a bout but was still kinda slow paced. Sylvia vs. I like Sylvia, but I figured Arlovski would have tried to get Sylvia to the ground but shit no.. It was like someone told them to Pace the Fight.. It was like an old ass boxing match with a few leg kicks tossed in. Boreing as hell for 25min.. hell the shoud have aired the fight that where worth a phuck last night. I would have really like to see the full Monson/Perosh bout, Franca/Jordan.. um Kongo/Aldana and Fickett/Pellegrino .. oh well on to next month I was kinda going to pull for Babalu to win over Liddell on ufc-62. but now I want Liddell to win just so I can see him go at it with Wanderlei Silva in 63.

i just want to know how you're going to stop a fight between shamrock and ortiz after 5 elbows but you'll let the first guy lose half his phucking blood all over the ring. well you know ol' herb is got a pretty big check coming from the ortiz camp!!!!!!!

The difference between the Edwards vs. Stevenson fight and the Tito vs. Shamrock was that Yves Edwards was defending himself the whole time. It doesn't matter how bloody a fight is as long as the person is intelligently defending themselves. The refs are just there to protect the fighters and call a fair fight. The elbow is the sharpest bone on the body and will cause major damage when not blocked at all.

i saw the clip on youtube, herb knew like everyone else in the world that ortiz was gonna kill shamrock, personally if anyone was paid, i think it was from shamrock, if herb wouldnt have stopped the fight shamrocks old ass would have ended up with a broke hip or something

ive seen some fights where people have been hit by 4-5 clean elbows and been knocked out, im sure that ortiz elbow is lethal.
