Anyone know of a gas tank that's right around 28 inches long, 12 inches tall, 20 inches wide?

My tank is going behind my axle and I have around 28-29 inches of space to work with. The stock tank from a standard cab is like 6 inches too long.

try an old school s10 blazer, or a mighty max tank.

you narrowed your frame? Because my tank fit behind the axle with room on each side...

Try an older ford escort gas tank, they are flat flat flat.

or a bronco 2 tank or get a custom tank made

Didn't narrow my frame; there's just under 29 inches between the back end of my notch and the end of my framerails. I'm not gonna keep it mounted sideways between the rails. It's gonna be 180 degrees off of where it was factory. Driver side, with the air tank next to it on the passenger side.

I'll check out those tanks tomorrow and let you know what I come up with!

how about a spun aluminum fuel cell- like a dune buggy, or a beer keg, or a aluminum fuel cell?

i was gonna say, i just put my gas tank mehind my axle and it fits with room to spare like russ said, going sideways seems odd but whatever tickles you're fancy, just buy a small fuel cell you'll be fine.
