smooth plexi tailights.....???

Ok.....I might sound like a moron here, but here it goes.

I'm looking at doing something different (for here anyway)..and have seen these tailights on some tailgates and rear chopper fenders where the paint is the tail light so to speak...

..any enlightenment and direction to take to complete this endevour?

..any help is greatly appreciated.

There was a good thread on this not too long ago. I do not remember where exactly, but it was there. Do a little search and you should locate it. It had some useful information.
