ABS LIGHT GOES ON

When driving my truck, my ABS and Parking Brake light go on, in my dash. Its a 01 silverado v6. Has anyone had this problem?

check the brake fluid

Either that or the ABS control module is bad or going bad. Mine died in my fullsize.

I'm having the same prob on mine now except.Mine is starting to every once in awhile my brake pedal will actually push back against my foot on slow stops. It is alot worse the higher i drive my with my front up.I hooked it up to a comp and mine says erratic wheel speed. Think it would be the front hubs which has the wheel speed sensor in it ?Any help would be greatly appreciated

i had mine go off on bad bumps constantly but only for like a week and then one night it went on and stayed on and the next day my battery died cause the day before.. the day that my light wouldnt shut off my alternator died. very odd. when ever im having power issues it became verry sensitive
