I am running toxic shocks lowered shocks for a mazda application. These are my front shocks, may redo the set up though.

Mine are behind the control arm with the eye coming off the lower control arm, and angled back a little bit with the stem attatched to a Alter image/ cando specialties upper mount.

This set up works pretty well.

I have heard and seen vw bug ( 65 i think ) used in a similar manner on torsion bar minis before. These are a loop-loop shock, so the upper mount would be different than my stem style mounts. The bug shocks are longer also.

Not sure how the ride would be on these, ahven't ridden in a truck with this set up. Maybe IM sadistic ironworks, I think this is the style he used on his toyota.

As for the rear, I had stock shocks relocated when I was monoleafed. Beat nothing at all. Will have to use something else now since I am working on my four link.

I am only running 4 valves. thats why shocks are so important. What length toxic shocks did you use???

Make a tubing hoop to weld to the frame, and mount the shocks off the upper a arm to the hoop. I used 87 chevy fullsize front shocks. Little stiff, but rode good.

Belltechs nitro drop shocks that are for a 94 style S-10...I use them in all my bag set up's....

Meant to add those as well. My friend used them on his nissan. Same set up as my toxics, shocks were a bit longer...but it was really a non issue as far as fitting them, just mounted the upper mount a little higher.

Not sure of the length on the toxics. I already had them with my static drop, so I just carried them over.

I originally ordered them from Godfathers customs, and I just told them they were for a mazda truck.
