help truck no running right

ok i have an 88 s-10 4 wheeldrive 4.3. yeah i know it aint a mini but thats besides the point. my truck has a hesitation in it. i have changed the plugs,wires,filter. throttle position sensor. i change the fuel pump back in january and got one from advanced. im hopin its no the pump. could be though. my brother in law said he never seen one do that before. any help will be greatly appericated.

did you change the fuel filter, and you would hear the fuel pump kick off if it was that it wouldnt make the huming noise. advance does sell shat parts other than that couldnt really help ya hope someone hear can goodluck

yeah changed it once already and even the filter on the bottom of the pump already as well. im stumped. might just be the fuel pump.

oh yeah it only does it when im driving up hill mainly. on the level it does a little but not as much but sittin still it idles perfect.

Is there another fuel pump inline somewhere? Does it also do it when you jam the gas or just up hill.

no i dont think theres another fuel pump just in the tank i think. i can jam the gas and it waits a sec but then it picks up and goes like a bat out of hell. when it does hesitate i give it gas and it goes on fine. the speedomater bounces around until it gets to about 30 miles an hour then it levels. would this have anything to do with it?

Lets see. Its an 88 so its carbbed. Could be something off with the crab have you checked for vaccum leaks etc. To me it sounds like a fuel filter.

it actually has the thorttle body injection in it man. and i change the filter and it didnt help at all. i ask a bunch of garages and they told me different stuff so i tried them. even got the bosh platium plugs.

What Im sayin though did someone before you own it. Alot of times people will throw another one inline somewhere. I have seen aftermarket Filters in some strange places. ha ha. Do you have any check engine or check gauge lights on.
