aww man another 92 dakota xcab lookin into bodydroppin. more power to ya... i havent even started baggin mine yet. i got most the stuff: bags, valves, fittings, all that plus more. ive been researchin bodydroppin on mine while i was in college and now that im out i just need to tear into it.. a few tips: narrowed rear end.. from somethin else like a ford 9 or 8.8 the dodge rear shafts have to be completly remade and its just easier to swap out to the ford, 2x3 boxtubing frame rails with a Z-ed front frame section, 5 lug conversion the 87-90 were 5 lug but you have to get the front end components from a salvage unless you find an easier way and high offset wheels (+45 mm or 6.5 inch backspacing) like for a mustang. well i wish somebody would have just spelled it out for me a couple of years ago and saved me all that time discovering these things. write all that down and research it you'll find it beneficial to your goals.

anybody got any other tips???

Square Dakotas look great when bodydropped. A good freind of mine has one. It is bodydropped, has suicide doors, and he built a sheet metal cover for part of the bed. He is in the process of doing some other stuff to it right now, and then it's off to paint. here it is in primer....
