you can take it apart and push the whole unit inside and just make a filler plate with enough room for the wireing harnes to come out.

i cut mine, lengthened all the wires, then relocated the mounting plate to the side of the cab right behind the wheel. that way the harness bolts back like stock incase i need to take it off again.

what size are your rims and tires, backspacing and all?????

deuce dubs with 35+mm offset, dunno what the backspacing is. 265/35/22.
