i had a set that I mounted in the door pulling across. like they were pointed toward the door mirror. that sucked, they never worked right. I took them off and put my windows on my remote. Now I just reach in and open the doors. Most of the guys that I know that have had really good luck have mounted down below the latch and had the solenoid pulling straight down and they have worked really good./ good luck...

mine are mounted like that and theyve worked just fine until about 2 weeks ago when they crapped out on me. so no probs out of them i guess they're like anything else, they just can only last so long.

on my freinds mazdda there wasnt a whole lotta room for the size of the solenoids..(he got some massive ones for some reason..) so we ended up mounting them on the bottome left corner of the door (driver side if ur lookin at it from the drivers seat..) and ran a "pulley system" to make it go up and to the latch..this worked EXTREMLY well..and stilld oes..

mount it pulling down.when you pull the door handle there is a piece connected to the rods it has a hole if you hook it to that it should pull strong remeber when you mount make sure solenoid is fully extended with no slack in the line so it pulls max strength

skip foy how did you put your windows on your remote cause depending on if your rolling the window up or down depends on which of the two wires is positive and negative.

I got the up/down window modules for my remote and now i hit one remote button and hold it down for widows down and for windows up I hit the lock/arm button. Doors lock, windows roll up and alarm sets./
