Hey All. I am from Wooster Ohio which is in farm country.
I have had lifted trucks for the last 10+ years. However, 3 years ago I sold my lifted Superduty for a crew cab since I started a family. I wanted a clean, 4wd, CCLB, 7.3, 5 speed, XLT, OBS Ford for around $10-12k but came up short. I was picky. After 8 months of searching, I found a 97 2wd crew cab dually that the original owner was selling. I drove 9 hours one way to get it and drove it home. I have had it for over 2 years now and haven't converted it to 4wd like I planned. 2wd life hasnt been that bad since I park it in the winter anyways. I have been on the fence about lowering it vs lifting it. But I think its time to do something differnet. So here I am.
I use my truck primary to tow my rock crawlers and it is the family hauler for vacations. I will have issues getting in and out of my off-road parks, but there are several resources there to pull me out.
