just wondering if i should put holly electric fuel pump on the frame uder passanger side,needingg to know because i dont want to drag and catch something on fire.or where should i put it?it is a 86 chevy c-10 fullsize.please help.

dont put it where it will touch the ground and you will be fine!

put your fuel tank next to the engine

always remember, sparks and leaking fuel is a GOOD mix

I run a Holley Blue pump...it is bolted to the subframe underneath my bed.

No problems there....(knock on wood)

by under pass side, do you mean under the floorboard? thats too far away, you want the pump as close to the cell as possible. but mounting it on the frame is fine.

yeah..what Dave said..pumps push better than they pull...so put it as close to the tank or cell as possible..

on my mazda i had my cell in the back of my bed andmy pump was run on the leftside of my frame unbder the bedrails..worked out perfect..

forget how to poast picsfor the 100th time..but there is a picture of where it was mounted..under the fuel cell so the pump really didnt have to pull at all..grvity did the pulling

i had one on my race truck, just a reminder if you mount it on the frame, don't forget to put some rubber mounts. if you rigid mount it, it will drive you crazy.
