I just lowered my 98 Accord....got new KYB shocks and some coilovers. I was under the impression that the car would bounce a lot if stock shocks were used, but the aftermarket shocks would eliminate the bounce. Umm....wrong??? My car bounces like a sob - the car looks nice lowered but I don't know if I want to sacrifice the ride for the looks or what. Guess what I'm trying to say is - do all cars bounce with coilovers??

if you buy some 8 way or 16 way adjustable shocks and a nice set of coils, you will have so much adjustability with your suspension and set it to really stiff or really soft and everywhere in between. i just bought a civic with 16 way tien shocks and tien coils, its dropped 4 inches and rides like a dream. way better than my bagged accord. but if you go cheap and even if you dont spend the time to set everything perfect then yes your always going to bounce.

They're some cheap coilovers from ebay...then again, the most expensive coilovers I saw on ebay were only $40. The shocks are KYB GR2.....I can't keep pouring money into everything, so I guess I'll have to have a shitty ride for a little while......don't know.
