relocating your cd player

How do you go about moven your cd player into a center console?DOMINATIONTHEVIDEO:

grab ur self some extra wireconnect it to ur harness..runt hat wire to where ever the new cd player mount will be..(DONT GET WIRES CONFUSED!! label each end as ur hookin em up..

Then jsut either fiberglass a new console..fiberglass the deck into ur existing console OR..if u jsut want something flat cut out a hole and go to town..

Ya it is pretty easy unless you are trying to move just the face of the cd player and put the rest of it somewhere hidden.

thats what i am interested in doing, can you elaborate?? or anyone that knows how its done feel free to lemme know.

alright..now dont take my on this 100%..BUT theres a couple things..u gotta make sure u have a faceplatte tat comes off (duh) and make sure ur cdplayer is NOT motorized..or it wont work..NOW..one thing i have seen done actually..is soddering wires onto the part where u connect the faceplate to the actual deck..liinin up allt eh right little elctronic spike things..(dont know what there called lol) sodderin wire to each of these and connecting one end to the other end on the faceplate..now as u could imagine..keepin track of everyone of these wires is QUITE difficult..so take ur trime if u reaslly wanna do it this way..AND ive never ACTUALLY done thsi jsut SEEN it done as a test to see if itd work..it worked..but then the kid decided he didnt want it done...

If you are serious about relocating the face of the CD player it is much easier to wire using some flat ribbon cable like this:
